Tasting Notes

On the nose; summer flower meadows and lemon groves – you can almost feel the balmy air and hear the bees. Also, pineapple, Charentais melon and highly polished furniture. The palate is fruity and floral; quince jelly, jasmine, elderflower, orange blossom and fresh pineapple dusted with chilli and salt. The reduced nose is wonderfully gentle, subtle and attractive; acacia honey, toffee apples and vanilla ice-cream with lychees. The palate is so delicate now (it needs only a drop of water) – soft citric flavours, white grapes, Fruit Salad chews and fruit cocktail – just a sliver of oak in the tail. Refreshing and summery.
